30th Wedding Anniversary

Tomorrow is our 30th Wedding Anniversary and Yes it's St. Patrick's Day.
The two of the top photo's are of Dad and me. Yes my Dad was a Scot and he so wanted to wear his Cunningham Kilt and all the bits. He looks great. He would always say that all the parts worked when people asked if he had anything on under the kilt.

The photo above is of Neil and I when we were ready to leave.
My DH has to reason to celebrate 17th March getting his drivers licence at 17 years old and getting married to me in 1979. DH and I look so young we were only 21.

The photo's turned out pretty good for old photo's that I have just taken with my digital camera.
We now have to catch my DH's parents who have reached their 50th two years ago. See earlier posts

Some of my flowering African Violets

Okie Easter Bunny: (Hybridised by Cockran)Semi Double pansy-pink/raspberry splatter edge--approx 12 flowers per stem. Red back plain slightly quilted foliage.
Corroboree is the name of this plant. Dark purple frilled pansy.Dark green, pointed, deeply scalloped foliage. Again flower darker then photo.

Corroboree has many long lasting blooms. Margaret Taylor Hybrid

This plant is called "Myrtle Grove" and has a beautiful dark purple flower. The flower is darker then this photo and has a white edge with white and green variegation on leaves as seen on the older leaves. In warmer weather the leaves lose the white colouring.

African Violets.

Here is an update on my AV plantlets and plants that I repotted last year.

The repotted plants are now flowering and the baby plantlets have more than double in size and some have beautiful flowers. Here is a photo of the plantlets now. The baby plants are now in three trays as they have out grown the two they were in.

Christmas Helper.

When the present were all opened my beautiful ginger boy had to join into the fun and play with all the Christmas paper just like little kids would do. The first photo was taken when Rusty (Cat) saw the face of a cat on the cat calendar sitting on the floor near me and it was looking at him. Very Scary Rusty!!!!! My DS 23 had to take a photo of me in my PJ's with no make up etc. Great one Matt.

Christmas Tree

It's Christmas morning and all the presents have been placed under the tree last night ready for the big day.
What a great day we have had opening presents after breakfast as DH and DS 23 could not wait as they were hungry. Weetie's was on for breakfast. Quick and easy.
Then down to opening the presents that DH handed out to us all.
