Block from my sampler quilt

It's been some time since my last post. Life has just been busy. Over the time I have finished a nine block sampler top as a teaching tool. Almost finished the hand sewing on a 3D quilt that I started years ago with Amanda Daley when I was doing classes at Hobbysew.
Here are some of the Sampler Blocks I did in her on going class.
The technique used in these block was foundation piecing with interfacing.

The star block is my 6 hour block as it took me six hours to make!!!!!!hehe
It was just one block that I was going to get right!!!!

Here is the back of two blocks to show how the interfacing has been used.

I Spy Blocks

I had fun at the last craft show buying most of these fabrics to make these block.
Four blocks made 44 to go.
I do have to get more boy theme fabrics.
The blocks are so easy to make it's the cutting that has taken time.

Snowball Cat Quilt

This is another project I am working on at the moment. My friend who is a cat lover too has been swapping squares with me so I can make myself a cat quilt. I have had all this cat fabric sitting in a box so its time to be used.

When all the snowballs are made I am going to add stashing between the blocks. Maybe put four blocks together or stashing around each block still thinking.
